News2020 Project: Explore the future of online news

The News2020 Project, a venture sponsored by Voxant, is exploring the evolution of online news, posing the question, "What will the news business be like in the year 2020?" It includes a blog hosted by Jeff Crigler, CEO of Voxant, video archives documenting the visions of industry leaders, joint research projects, and live and virtual forums, all designed to create a collaborative learning environment for everyone in the online news ecosystem.

We are extending an open invitation to news organizations, news associations, journalism schools, bloggers and anyone else who's interested in sharing insights, questions and experience. Additionally, we invite proposals to jointly create forums, documentaries, research studies and other projects that contribute to the on-going dialogue and learning.
